Big Goon
Infected with an alien virus, the Big Goon was once a human like you and me. However, he's much more advanced in his development than other humans infected with the same virus. In addition to his incredible strength, he's developed phenomenal psychic abilities. As if that wasn't enough, he's also able to summon this gigantic energy sword from some pocket dimension. No word if he's got any agenda he's following, but massive destruction follows wherever he goes.
If you see him, flee at all costs!

The Silver Shield
The original Silver Shield had been around since World War II. He defended Europe from the Nazi war machine, surprising many by returning back to America in one piece. He spent the next 40 or so years mopping up after the remainders of the Third Reich. He tracked the remaining criminals to South America, Antarctica and even to a base on the Moon, and brought them all to justice! During this time he had many heroes who assisted him in his crusade, including a mysterious woman who some suspected might be his daughter. It was obvious he was very fond of her, and he sought to teach her all he knew.
Just as the Silver Shield thought his work was almost done, he received word that the Nazis had opened a portal to a parallel universe... one where the Nazis won World War II!! He and his female protege quickly went to destroy this portal. During the pitched battle, the Silver Shield was caught in a battle close to the activated dimensional door. Seeing his partner in trouble, he flung his shield to protect her and then BAM!! Total whiteout!!
When his protege recovered from the flash, she found her mentor gone and the portal destroyed. All that was left was his shield. Clinging to the hope that perhaps he wasn't dead but had been shunted to the other side of the dimensional doorway, she looks for a way to bring him back.
In the meantime, she holds onto his shield and uses a unique dual-shield form of combat as the new Silver Shield!!

War Wolf
You've seen those B-grade and straight-to-video movies about experiments by the military to create new and different types of soldiers, haven't you? Even if you haven't watched them, you've heard the rumors, right? Super-soldiers. Human-animal hybrids. Human-alien hybrids. Human-robot hybrids. Animal-robot hybrids. Werewolf soldiers. Vampire soldiers. Zombie soldiers. Zombie-robot hybrids. Animal vampire soldiers. The list goes on and on. The varieties and combinations seem endless, sounding more and more preposterous as you go along.
Well, where do you think all those writers got their ideas from?
You're looking at one of the sources right here.

Lady Maravilla
The Zebra Man
His background's a mystery because he doesn't offer any clues. His real name's a mystery too; he just calls himself "The Zebra Man". He's taciturn and cranky, but he's one of the best troublemakers out there. He combines martial arts and acrobatic skills with formidable telekinetic powers to become a formidable adversary! If you run across him, start running in the opposite direction!

Shadow Drake
Storm Giant
Crazy lookin', huh? You might be too if you had as many skeletons hiding in your closet as this gent. Suffering from a massive inferiority complex when he compared himself to his other compatriots in crime, the man who would become Storm Giant took matters into his own hands by overcoming each of his teammates one by one. Then he took their comatose bodies and stashed them in stasis compartments in his basement lab. "Borrowing" his former teammates' equipment, he set himself up as "Storm Giant", one of the most powerful foes Gulliver has ever encountered!
Storm Giant's the kind of guy who would use napalm to take care of a roach problem! When he shows up, expect massive collateral damage!

Self-critique update -
I know it was late when I posted this image, but SHEESH! That face makes him look like a bored George Sands and I've seen friendlier smiles on the animatronic Abe Lincoln at DisneyWorld. Back to the drawing board...

Open for business!!
Inspired by Everett Downing's blog, 365 Supers, I'm going to take the plunge and show off my characters as well. There's plenty of characters I've created over the years that have never appeared in my other galleries, and this is where I want to show them off. If I ever get around to showcasing them in my planned online comic, you'll know that they appeared here first!
...and so, on with the show!
